Instructions
Mix the Dough:
- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded coconut and sweetened condensed milk. Stir until well combined and a sticky dough forms.
Shape the Truffles:
- Scoop small portions (about 1 tablespoon each) and roll into smooth balls. Place them on a parchment-lined tray.
Chill:
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
Coat with Chocolate (Optional):
- Melt the chocolate in the microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, rolling to coat evenly.
- Place back on the tray and let the chocolate set.
Set and Serve:
- Let the truffles set at room temperature or refrigerate for 10 minutes before serving.
