- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups cream or half-and-half
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in the cream and continue stirring until the sauce thickens. Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Combine cooked pasta, chicken, broccoli, and half the cheddar cheese in the prepared baking dish. Pour the sauce over the mixture and toss gently to coat.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, and breadcrumbs (if using) over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
